Getting the latest AIMMS Releases on AIMMS Cloud Platform

On the AIMMS Cloud Platform, AIMMS version management is handled automatically. Every AIMMS major feature release is made available to you without any manual activation step, and you are always guaranteed to run on the most recent hotfix of your chosen release.

How it works

No version activation needed. When you publish an app via the Portal, you will see all available AIMMS major releases in the version selector. You no longer need to check for hotfix versions or verify whether a newer version is available — we take care of that for you.

Automatic hotfix updates. Whenever an app session starts, the Cloud Platform automatically selects the latest hotfix of the major release you chose at publish time. For example, if you published with AIMMS 4.88, your app will run on 4.88.6 (or whichever is the latest hotfix) without you needing to republish. The feature release association is never changed without your action.

Faster session start-up. Because the set of AIMMS versions that must be available on Cloud servers is simpler, session queues are processed faster and servers can scale up more quickly.

No action needed on your existing apps. All previously published apps continue to work with their selected feature release and automatically benefit from any hotfixes that have been released since publishing.
