This option specifies the level of effort applied for the MIP heuristic search used in finding an initial integer feasible point. Possible values are:

• Automatic

• None

• Basic

• Advanced

• Extensive

Setting ‘Automatic’ lets Knitro choose the heuristic strategy to apply (if any). Setting ‘None’ means that no heuristic search will be applied.
